What Happens During an Acoustic Site Survey?

Many clients ask, “What exactly do you do during a survey?” And it’s a great question — because this is the foundation of every successful installation.

A site survey helps us understand how your space currently handles sound. We look at materials, ceiling height, room shape, noise sources, and how people use the space. From there, we craft a plan that aligns with both your goals and your design vision.

Here’s what we assess during a survey:

  • Echo and reverberation levels

  • Existing materials and surfaces

  • Space usage (e.g. meetings, collaborative work, private calls)

  • Potential sound leakage or noise pollution

  • Design preferences for integration

By starting with science and observation, we ensure the end result performs exactly as needed — and looks great doing it.
